Around Rivas you can enjoy beaches such as Tola, Guacalito and Playa Redonda, where you will find Aqua Wellness Resort & Spa, Gigante Beach, Hacienda Iguana, Rancho Santana and Magnifi Rock Playa Popoyo.
Between Rivas and San Juan del Sur you can also find beaches such as San Juan del Sur, El Remanso, El Coco Beach and La Flor, a Turtle Reserve very visited by tourists.
Then you can continue with the beach tour to Playa Marsella, Playa Maderas and Majagual.

The route can continue through Puerto San Jorge and Isla Ométepe. The latter is composed of two volcanoes, in Lake Cocíbolca, the great lake of Nicaragua. United by a thin, flat isthmus, the two volcanoes shape the island like an hourglass.
On the northern half of Ométepe stands Concepcion, a majestic and perfectly conical active volcano, while the southern half is dominated by the extinct Maderas volcano that is wrapped in a cloud forest and has a mist-covered lagoon in its crater.
If you ask, what can you do? You can climb the Maderas Volcano, Visit Ojo de Agua and Punta Jesús María.
